  I enjoyed pre-Christmas lunch with friends. The view overlooking the dam was beautiful. The food was delicious. The service was not to be faulted. What did strike me though was that considering the upmarket reputation, the drink selection was lacking. No campari, it's a common aperitif. Gun was Gordon's or Gordon's, no Bombay Sapphire. The big surprise was the unimpressive wine list. Just one Queensland wine & nothing from the award winning Flame Hill winery just up the road.

  Oh Golly this is a real a Molly Spot. You need to discover it for yourself. Has a restaurant.. tree house accommodation...great views...romance...history...and George the owner who gives lady guests a rose.

  My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary, it was amazing! We stayed in the Possum cabin, and it was just incredible. We enjoyed dinner sent to our room and I loved the breaky basket. I'm also a wedding photographer and I think this is amazing for weddings down by the water. I highly recommend Secrets!

  I attended a birthday function which included a two course meal. Overall the experience was good with beautiful handmade furniture and great views and great friendly service. The food was ok but nothing special. I am not sure how my meals would compare to items ordered off the menu but I suspect the main reason people would visit or stay would be for the beautiful relaxing environment rather than the food.

  Simply stunning is the only way to describe Secrets. Beautifully carved & polished Red Cedar abounds. The skill of the carving has to be seen to be believed. Take my tip, drop in for lunch. You'll be amazed like I was & you'll keep coming back. Enjoy.
